After announcing the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) as the 1st bank in the Kingdom of Bahrain to be officially certified with ISO 14001:2015 in December 2021, the bank has yet again partnered with H.A. Consultancies to implement the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety standards to achieve a healthy and safe working environment to the employees. This is in accordance with the United Nations Sustainability Development Goal ‘Decent Work and Economic Growth’.
